For too prolonged the general perception of gamers has been that of a bunch of couch potatoes with greasy plaits and generally slobbish behaviour - I say this in the past tense as things have certainly changed a lot lately. With the advent of the Xbox 360 Kinect more and more games have started to use your whole carcass as the controller. Now that it’s no longer just our thumbs getting a workout we should see a new contemporaries of gamers with lean and fit bodies walking the streets. Or should I say ‘dancing in the lounges?’

Well, wasn't that an sophistication. Having barely recovered from the travesty of justice that is Let's Dance with Mel B , I couldn't mayhap have been less enthusiastic about yet another Kinect-based dancing game. Still, that's a game reviewers lot in existence: it can't be all Modern Warfare and Skyrim , and you've got to take the good with the bad. Anyway, where was I. Oh, yes. The Black Eyed Peas Be familiar with. With due caution I slipped back into my dancing shoes and fired up this new entry in the popular leap rhythm game genre, and much to my surprise it's not half bad. That's not to say it's particularly amazing either, but compared to some of the other pitiful gas that gets tossed onto a disc and sold to unsuspecting tweens as the "next big Kinect smash", the Baleful Eyed Peas Experience is positively phunkalicious.
