Skype on Wednesday rolled out an update to its Android app that brings video occupation to 17 additional Android devices.

Skype added video employment to its Android app earlier this summer, but it initially only worked on the Google Nexus S. The item face now extends to more than a dozen Android devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S and HTC Beyond belief.

HTC unlocks bootloaders, trades freedom for warranties

Earlier this summer, several Android OEMs announced that they would no longer be locking their bootloaders. The silver in heart was met with cheers from developers and enthusiasts in the community, though wireless carriers weren’t to some so excited about the move. Verizon, for example, tweeted that it would not activate any unlocked devices on its network. Nevertheless, manufacturers like HTC stayed right to their word — though it now turns out there’s a catch in this particular case.
