He called the deed Project Pinpoint.

Gouge Stanhope, chief executive of Historypin, said the new site allows people to see and share real content in a variety of new ways.

“Users can 'pin' images, videos, and audio recordings to Google Maps at a fact date, as well as location,” he said in an interview with the Daily Brink .
